Telexistence Expands Beverage Shelf-Stocking Service with “TX Ghost” Robots

Telexistence Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Jin Tomioka; hereinafter “TX”) today announced the expansion of its beverage shelf-stocking service powered by the company’s proprietary robot, TX Ghost, with pilot operations now underway at select 7-Eleven stores in Tokyo.

In convenience stores, beverage restocking typically takes place in chilled backroom environments, requiring long hours of heavy labor that place a significant physical burden on staff. TX Ghost automates this high-volume task, freeing up store employees to focus on value-added activities—such as managing sales floors and promoting new counter offerings like Seven Café Bakery—ultimately driving both operational efficiency and sales growth.

By redesigning task allocation and optimizing store workflows, TX also provides a pathway for reducing operating costs while supporting the creation of more attractive, customer-centric retail spaces.

“Our mission is simple yet bold: Change robots, change structures, change the world,” said Jin Tomioka, CEO of Telexistence Inc. “TX Ghost represents a new era of robotics in retail—one where automation doesn’t just reduce burdens, but empowers stores to serve customers better and thrive in a rapidly changing market.”
